Mission Statement

**To serve the community by sharing Christian love  **

“but thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself”
Leviticus 19:18b

To visit nursing home facilities and hospitals for the purpose of reading and praying with the residents; to talk to them, but more importantly, listen to what they have to say; to share the love and service of Christ no matter what the cost; to visit our neighbor’s home for the purpose of helping to do whatever is needed to be done; and to be ready and available to respond to the needs of the church.

Vision of the Ministry

“Showing Love To Our Neighbors At All Costs”

The Vision of this ministry is to alert God’s children that there is spiritual food inside of the House of God and also in the neighborhood. Through acts of absolute love, fellowship, and expressed giving, the needs of the community will be met.  We envision a total community that loves itself unconditionally and will strive to be helpers one to another at all times.

Purpose of Ministry

The purpose of MIA is to ‘lend a helping hand to our neighbors’ and help them with their physical and spiritual needs. Our purpose developed out of the need to share God’s Word.  Many People are in need physical and spiritual food and/or anything else we can help them with. We will even come and take you to and from church, doctor, or run errands for you.  There is a need in transportation as we are purposed to help transport community residents via church, medical support, and errands of necessity.
